Magic Kingdom is the most iconic Walt Disney World park — the one with Cinderella Castle, the classic rides, and the strongest lineup for younger kids. Magic Kingdom is organized into six themed lands radiating out from a central hub in front of Cinderella Castle.

Note on Closures (2026): Tom Sawyer Island, Rivers of America, and Liberty Square Riverboat are permanently closed. That area is being transformed into Piston Peak National Park, a Cars-themed expansion with new rides, restaurants, and shops — not yet open. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is closed for refurbishment and expected to reopen in 2026. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin closed August 2025 for refurbishment and is expected to reopen sometime in 2026.
